• Senior Advisory Board member of Ehrenbergs Kommunikation, head-quartered in Hamburg, Germany with offices in Copenhagen and Oslo. The company handles PR, PA for ferry companies, such as Scandlines and Fergen, regional tourist boards in Sweden , Denmark and Greenland plus life-style companies such as Thule and Stenström.

• In April 2013 Barbro was voted chair of AWTE (Association of Women’s Travel Executives). Founded in London in 1954, the organisation is a networking forum for women in all sectors of the travel and tourism industry. The Association has nearly 200 members and has recently introduced company membership, (through which even gentlemen can be members). Barbro has been a member since the mid 1970s and on the board for the last 5 years.

• Barbro is a Trustee of the Swedish Benevolent Trust, which handles a substantial investment fund used for Swedes in need, especially the elderly living in the UK. Charitable Funds are mainly channeled via the Swedish Church, London, which is active all over the UK.

• Barbro is also past Chairman of SveaBritt, a networking association for Swedish professional women, founded in 1981 and still going strong with some 50 UK members representing a wide range of professions. Barbro is a founder member and has been on the board since 2008.
